I don’t understand what my family’s problem is. I was getting ready to do the dishes and I asked my brother to go upstairs and get me my iPod. What can I say? I like listening to music while I do the dishes. He gives me this “you’ve got to be kidding me” look and that means he can’t be bothered. I asked him one personal favor today. But no! Heaven forbid me ask him to do something while he’s playing videogames… But, whatever. So I went and got it and came back down and got Dad and Gram some chocolate. While I’m in the living room, my brother says, “I’m gonna get some ice cream.” Ice cream. While I’m trying to do the dishes! So I got upset and told him I’d get it myself. But he wants to be a stupid martyr, so I get yelled at. I got upset and Dad came in and was trying to play it off, I’m being unreasonable, I’m just throwing a tantrum, and he tried to give me a hug. I told him I didn’t want to be touched, so he stormed out and left the house. Fine. I finished the dishes, even got the kids the ice cream they wanted. I come back out and sit down to watch whatever movie they were watching. Two hours later, and I haven’t seen any sign of my dad. I was mad at him, but I mean, he’s my dad, you know? I got worried. I find out, he’s been back, and just snuck upstairs so he didn’t have to deal with me.

I’m not a bad person. I don’t get mad all that often. I used to. But I’ve gotten over that angsty teen phase. But it’s like I’m not allowed to get upset about anything. Dad can get upset. My brother and sister can get upset. Anyone else gets upset and they are just left alone until they feel better. If I’m upset, I’m obviously upset for a stupid reason and I need to get over it because they were “just playing”. I don’t want to say life isn’t fair… But sometimes, I just want to crawl in a corner. I really wish my best friend was online. I need a friend. I just know that when she reads this, she's gonna make fun of me... Yes, I'm listening to my favorite emo music. Bite me.
